The Lower School is made up of children from years 1, 2 and 3. The adults in this phase of school work together to give children the best learning opportunities possible.
The oldest children in this phase are very important leaders and role models. All children in year 3 are expected to take on a leadership role so they can contribute meaningfully to the community through their work.
Becoming confident and fluent readers is a key priority during lower school and we expect that all children read, every day. Book bags need to be in school daily to support the smooth running of our home reading programme.
Mr Lane is the Phase Leader for Lower School and he is happy to answer any questions that you may have. He is available on the playground at drop off and pick up time or you can make an appointment through the school office.
