The Upper School is made up of children from years 4, 5 and 6. The adults in this phase of school work together to give children the best learning opportunities possible.
The oldest children in this phase are very important leaders and role models. All children in year 6 are expected to take on a leadership role so they can contribute meaningfully to the community through their work.
During this phase of school, children are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for their learning. Book bags need to be in school daily and children are expected to read on a daily basis and make sure that this is recorded in their reading journals.
Mrs Neale is the Phase Leader for Upper School and he is happy to answer any questions that you may have. She is available on the playground at drop off and pick up time or you can make an appointment through the school office.
