It is an honour to be the Executive Headteacher of Pearson Primary School, serving our vibrant, diverse and multicultural community. Pearson Primary is a very special school in the heart of our city.

My personal passion is growing and developing people in service of their school and I believe that every child, no matter their starting points or social demographic, has the right to a world class education, so that they can develop the courage and aspiration required to learn and achieve. This is why I do the work that I do.

Our school is at the heart of a rich and diverse community. We are proud of the many languages, cultures, backgrounds and experiences that make up our school. At the same time, we know that many of our children and families face real challenges.

We know that these challenges do not happen one at a time. They often overlap and build up, creating extra barriers for children as they grow and learn. That is why personal development is so important in our school. We want every child to gain not only the academic knowledge they need, but also the confidence, character, experiences and life skills that will help them feel happy, secure and successful.

Every adult in our school prides themselves on working in strong partnership with families to nurture and supporting every child to achieve their fullest potential. The whole community works together, championing every child, to ensure each one experiences success and develops in confidence during their time with us.
